Alex King

Managing Director & Principal

As a Senior Project Planning specialist with extensive experience across the entire project planning and delivery eco-system, Alex loves nothing more than to partner with clients, formulating innovative project planning, scheduling and controls strategies that enhance both project delivery performance and customer satisfaction. 

 Alex has been a trusted advisor to senior-level executives within Defence, health, commercial development, transport infrastructure, and resources sectors, I have previously guided the successfully planning and delivery of major projects with values ranging from $30m to $1.6b. 

Leveraging a passion for operational innovation, I have set transformational agendas that inspire improvements across the entire project life cycle. A key strength is my ability to forge trusted relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels, supporting the change journey by promoting a shared vision and uniting disparate groups. 

Alex's passion is to deep dive into existing planning operations, identifying interdependencies, gaps, and risks, before creating new, best-practice, systems that meet organisational needs, both now, and in the future.

Technical specialties include project scheduling and planning, project control solutions, earned value and project status, digital planning and BIM integration, risk and contingency, and claims and forensic planning.

Morgan King

Junior Planner/Scheduler

 Morgan joined the Vantage Project Solutions team early 2024 and brings with him trade knowledge with 8 years of experience in the construction trade industry through significant roles at Stowe Australia & Downer.

 Morgan has established a strong foundation in project execution and management, with a particular focus on the construction trade. His expertise is enhanced by a specialisation in Construction Electrical Trade, alongside a burgeoning interest in leveraging Gaming/Unreal Engine technologies and understanding Supply Chain Logistics to enrich project planning.

Morgan's unique skill set offers a practical perspective on enhancing project efficiency and safety, underscoring his commitment to the sector's evolution. Morgan is particularly passionate about the digital transformation within the construction sector, focusing on the integration of 4D planning and the implementation of 4D interactive dry runs for high-risk activities. This innovative approach would aim to enhance efficiency, safety, and project outcomes.

Tim Buchan

Administrative & Operations Manager

Commencing with Vantage Project Solutions in May 2024, Tim's extensive 15 years knowledge and experience in business management & administration aims to provide Vantage with the support and business development to not only serve our current client base, but also grow and develop the business. 

Tim is a customer service expert and brings with him a personal yet professional touch to doing business. Having dealt with a large number National & International clients, Tim believes honest and open communication are the key to good working relationship between clients and suppliers.  

Tim has been involved in a range of businesses from large National organisations to local family owned and operated companies. While the outlook and focus always remains the same, obtaining the right results for the client. 

Tim's experience has seen him implement changes in many areas from sales support, IT and livestreaming, business management, Work Health & Safety, business development and marketing, making him a vital all-rounded for Vantage.
